If you’ve ever entered a cosplay/costume contest before, you’ve probably heard of a build book. Think of it as the behind-the-scenes scrapbook of your process, photos, notes, materials, progress shots, all the good stuff that proves you built your cosplay/costume yourself.

It is required for the BETA cosplay competition, and will be verified during registration that you have it with you. For the BETA, if you do not have a physical build book with you, we will allow a digital version to be presented during pre-judging.

This event is meant to test our judging process, not your ability to put together a build book. Our focus is on the cosplay.
